Can't find full text in PubMed?

If you are accessing the Web from off campus and if you go directly to MEDLINE/PubMed from Google or type pubmed.gov in your browser address bar, you will not see this button that provides links to HTML or PDF full text for articles:

To access full text from MEDLINE/PubMed (or other article databases), make sure to start from the Health Sciences Library website and use the links to MEDLINE/PubMed on the site (find them under Top Resources or Search & Find - Databases). You need to use the links from the website in order to see the UA full text buttons.

You may also bookmark our link to PubMed in your browser. For help on creating bookmarks, see our video tutorial on How to Customize your Web Browser [video tutorial via YouTube, 4:50].

If, after doing this, you still don't find the full text of the article you are searching for, look for the Article Linker button:

Use the Article Linker button to find the article in print or request the article from another library through interlibrary loan.

If you are off campus, you will be prompted for your NetID and password to access licensed resources.
