Please contact us if you would like to make a donation to AHSL Special Collections. We would be happy to discuss any questions you may have.
The AHSL Special Collections collects materials relating to the history of the health sciences in Arizona and the Southwest and other early materials relating to the health sciences.
These materials can include:
letters, diaries and other personal papers or files
photographs, other visual media and sound recordings
organizational records or files
items that relate to a person or event connected with the history of medicine in Arizona
early published or unpublished medical works
early medical instruments or equipment
Generally AHSL does not collect medical textbooks from the mid-1940s forward.
If you are interested in donating published works, we ask that you provide us with a list of titles (with author and date of publication). If applicable, please include a note about anything that may be of particular interest or significance regarding any of the items.
