Troubleshooting Remote Access to RefWorks & Write-N-Cite

Are you a current student, faculty or staff of the University of Arizona?

Are you off-campus?

Are you on-campus using UA Public Wireless?

Are you using a VPN -- UA Campus? College of Pharmacy? Other?

Using a Mac computer? Safari is not a supported browser--use Firefox.

Have you logged into RefWorks using the link from the AHSL or UAL website?

Do you remember your username & password for your RefWorks account?

Have you downloaded & installed the WNC software & set up proxy configuration?

Have you been asked for a group code?

Always start VPN first. |
Login to RefWorks from the AHSL website link above with your NetID, then your RefWorks account username & password. |

Open browser & connect to RefWorks through the AHSL website link above. Login with RefWorks username & password. If asked for group code, close browser and restart it. Clear cookies and open RefWorks again from the library website |
To use Write-N-Cite, follow the directions at Refworks Guide. To to install WNC software and set up proxy configuration. The next time you open Write-N-Cite, you will be prompted to enter your NetID in addition to your Refworks login. |
