Lost & damaged materials

Immediately notify the information desk when any borrowed material has been lost. You will then receive a billing statement that includes the cost to replace the material. Your student account in the UA Enterprise system will be encumbered and borrowing privileges will be suspended until payment is made. When the bill is paid, your account is cleared and borrowing privileges reinstated.

Materials that are returned and determined to be damaged will be forwarded to Collection Services where a decision will be made about whether to repair or replace the item. The full cost of the repair or replacement will be passed on to you in the form of an invoice. When paid, your account will be cleared and borrowing privileges reinstated.
