Document Delivery Services for Non-UA Affiliates
As a Resource Library within the National Library of Medicine's National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) the Arizona Health Sciences Library (AHSL) participates in Loansome Doc, a fee-based document delivery service.

To obtain article copies from AHSL, use Loansome Doc, which requires a simple registration process. You will be asked to select an ordering library--the library through which your requests will be processed. Select AHSL as your ordering library if you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.
Costs
Below are the fees for one article delivered from AHSL or referred to another library. When you order an article, you have the option to have your request forwarded to another library if AHSL cannot supply it or have the request cancelled without being filled. To determine if a journal is in the AHSL collection, use the the library catalog to browse the journal holdings .

*There is a special discounted rate for Loansome Doc users who register for an AHSL Community Card or a Corporate Card and pay the annual fee.
AHSL Community Card & AHSL Corporate Card for discounted prices
1. Must be an Arizona resident (possess AZ drivers' license or ID card) or business located in Arizona
2. Complete and submit the Community or Corporate registration form
3. Pay the annual fees by cash, check or credit card.
Article Delivery via DocOrder
Starting September 1, 2012, PDF articles will be delivered via the web. You will receive an email notification with a link to DocOrder, a web-based system, where you will logon to retrieve your article. Your username is your Loansome Doc email address. Reset your password to create your new password.
Once you are logged on click on "Electronically Received Articles" in the menu to view your article.
Turnaround time from receipt to shipment is 24 to 48 hours if the material is in the AHSL collection. Rush service is also available for an additional $10.00 per item.
Payment
Prior to filling the first request, individuals are required to provide AHSL with a Visa or MasterCard credit card number for payment. You are advised to provide this sensitive information by fax or phone. Individuals, libraries and nonprofit organizations will be sent monthly invoice with an itemized list of transactions and charges.
If you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions, please call or email the Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan office and you will be given the AHSL Library Identifier to complete your Loansome Doc registration.
Alternatives to Loansome Doc
You may submit requests by fax at 520-626-2831 or send email. Due to the increased processing time required by requests received via mail, email or fax, turnaround time is slower. There is also an additional $5.00 processing charge per request, except in cases where the item cannot be ordered via Loansome Doc.
