Dr. Eason came to Alaska from Seattle, where he had been associated with the University of Washington School of Medicine as a lecturer in preventive medicine and public health. Previously he served as director of local health services for Thurston-Mason counties in Washington and was city health officer in Spokane from 1947 to 1952.
